Abdulbaset Albaour

Eng. Abdulbaset Albaour chairs Libya’s General Authority for Communications and Informatics and the General Information Authority. Interested in digital policy and strategy, he chaired the National Digital Transformation Committee and led work on Libya’s ICT, digital transformation and AI strategies. He has issued regulatory policies for the ICT and AI sectors. An Assistant Professor at Misrata University, he represents Libya in international forums on digital transformation and emerging technologies.
