Kurumi Mori

Kurumi Mori is an American-Japanese journalist and BBC News Correspondent, who became the network's first Japanese foreign correspondent in April 2026. Mori reports across TV, radio, and digital platforms, bringing a global perspective to major international stories. Before the BBC, Mori spent nearly a decade at Bloomberg News as Presenter and Editorial Lead in Tokyo and New York. Her career also includes reporting for CNBC, ESPN, and other U.S. networks. Mori holds a master’s from Columbia Journalism School. She also serves as a judge for the Emmy and Gracie Awards.
